2015 Canada $10 Year of the Sheep Fine Silver Coin (TAX Exempt)

The year 2015 is ruled by the Sheep. The creative Sheep personality embodies wealth, warmth and loveliness. Good things seem to come to the Sheep naturally because of its irresistibly good nature. The Sheep rarely speaks its mind. It will go with the flow and only object when things aren't going its way.

The reverse image by Canadian artist Simon Ng features a detailed depiction of a Bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis canadensis), which is native to Canada's Rocky Mountains. Here, the sheep is viewed in three-quarter profile, which affords the viewer a close look at its distinctively long, spiral horns. An artistic rendering of bamboo - a symbol of longevity - fills the background. The Chinese character yang, meaning "sheep" or "goat," appears below the sheep's shoulder to represent the Year of the Sheep.
