General Motors Logo (1967-2021) 1oz .999 Silver Round (No Tax)

Add to your silver collection with this iconic 1oz General Motors Logo Round. This logo was used by General Motors from 1967 to 2021. The obverse of this coin features the General Motors' world-famous logo, which was used for 54 years (1967-2021). The reverse depicts small GM logos repeated in a vertical pattern.

The Original GM Logo
The General Motors logo was altered for the third time in 1967. It was simpler and less complex than its predecessors. On it, you could see a blue square with rounded corners and a white underlined "GM" wordmark. The wordmark used to be simply "GM" lettering in a conventional Helvetica typeface.
This style of logo was popular for a long time. The designers took out most of the components, making it more basic. All that was required to complete the design was the acronym and a white underline against a blue background. In addition, the limits of the square were removed in 2001.
Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, a glossy 3D effect was added to the simple watermark, as well as the bounds of a square, and eventually a metallic 3D effect took over.
While the designer is unknown, this basic and contemporary version of the GM logo could be recognized anywhere, helping to establish the firm as an innovative business.
