1995 50-cent Canada on the Wing: Birds of Canada 4-Coin Set (coins may be toned, as is typical of this set)

The first set in the Discovering Nature Series was issued to commemorate birds that are native to Canada. This is the first of eight sets totaling 32 coins. They are the first sterling fifty cents issued since 1919. This set includes the following coins: Atlantic Puffins, Whooping Crane, Gray Jays and White Tailed Ptarmigans. Each Wildlife series comes with the original packaging from the Royal Canadian Mint.
