2015 Canada $10 Calgary Flames Fine Silver Coin (TAX Exempt)
Hockey's enormous popularity in Canada has been fed for nearly a century by the National Hockey League. To celebrate "our game," the Royal Canadian Mint is proud to launch the 2015 edition of its beloved series celebrating the National Hockey League's Canadian Franchises. This beautiful Calgary Flames coin is one of seven.
This coin is 99.99% pure silver, with a diameter of 34 millimetres and a metal weight of 15.87 grams. The painted reverse design features a stylized silhouette of a hockey player on a rink, along with the Calgary Flames logo painted in the official team colours. The reverse is engraved with the word "CANADA", the date "2015", and the face value of "10 DOLLARS". The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
