An exceptional celebration of the Year of the Dog, this unique release features the shape of a dog etched in authentic Australian opal which makes a wonderful gift for those born in the Year of the Dog. The gemstone feature is embedded within a silver coin depicting stylised leaves and flowers. Included in the design is the inscription YEAR OF THE DOG, the 2018 year-date, and The Perth Mint's traditional "P" mintmark.

The coin is struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality.

The coin is presented in a prestigious display case with a light, which turns on as you open the lid and illuminates the stunning individual colours of the opal. The coin is packaged within a beautifully illustrated shipper and a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
