2014 Australia Map Shaped Proof Silver - Salt Water Crocodile (No Tax)

The sixth coin from the popular Australian Map Shaped Coin Series features the ferocious Saltwater Crocodile, one of Australia's most formidable reptiles.

Each coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.

The coin's reverse depicts a saltwater crocodile against the background of wild wetlands at sunset. The inscription SALTWATER CROCODILE also appears in the design with The Perth Mint's traditional 'P' mintmark and the 2014 year-date. The coin is innovatively struck in the shape of Australia.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin's obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2014 year-date, and the Denomination.

The Perth Mint will issue no more than 6,000 of the Australian Map Shaped Coin Series - Saltwater Crocodile 2014 1oz Silver Coin.

Each coin is housed in a classic grey display case within a custom-designed shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
