2007 Canada Day Coloured 25 Cents & Kids' Activity Set
The Royal Canadian Mint celebrates Canada Day with its' 9th Canada Day coloured 25 cent coin. This year's coin pays tribute to Canada's world renowned RCMP, with a depiction of MacLean the Mountie wearing the famous Red Serge. MacLean was born and raised in Gatineau, and is portrayed as straight, scrupulously fair and unfailingly honest. MacLean is clean cut, fastidious, tempered with liberal doses of common sense and of particular appeal to children. The activity set will include a set of 4 multicoloured temporary tattoos including the unique MacLean the Mountie coin graphic, as well as 3 other images, ideal for Canada Day. To further enhance the interactive nature of this activity set, the inside folder is designed with a trivia quiz about Canada and the RCMP. This will encourage consumers to think about and research 8 questions. Answers are included, along with the web sites of the RCM, RCMP and the Mounted Police Foundation.
