The Barber half dollar was minted from 1892 to 1915 and is named after its designer, Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber. Featuring a classical Liberty head on the obverse and a heraldic eagle on the reverse, the design was shared across the dime, quarter, and half dollar of the era.
