How Selling to Colonial Acres Works
1. Bring Your Items to Our Kitchener Store
For most collections, the easiest way to get started is to bring your items directly to our store during regular buying hours. No appointment is required for a standard in-store evaluation.
2. An Experienced Buyer Reviews the Material
One of our experienced buyers will examine the collection and consider factors such as authenticity, condition, rarity, collector demand, precious-metal content and completeness.
3. Review the Purchase Offer
After reviewing the material, we will explain what we are interested in purchasing and provide an offer based on the items and current market conditions. You can ask questions and decide whether you would like to proceed.
Purchase evaluations and offers are subject to physical examination, authenticity, condition, current market conditions and Colonial Acres’ current buying needs. Photographs and descriptions may help determine the next step but may not be sufficient for a final offer. Written appraisals and auction consignments are separate services and may be subject to appointments, fees or additional terms.
