2007 S Wyoming USA Quarter Silver Proof
The U.S. Statehood Quarters Program was a popular coin series launched by the U.S. Mint in 1999 and ran through 2008. It featured unique reverse designs for each of the 50 states, released in the order that they ratified the Constitution or were admitted to the Union. Each quarter celebrated a state's history, landmarks, or symbols, sparking national interest in coin collecting and educating millions about American heritage. With over 34 billion quarters minted, it became one of the most successful numismatic programs in U.S. history.
Obverse: Portrait of George Washington facing left, motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" to the left, and the date below. The mint mark, if present, is located next to the ends of Washington's hair.
Reverse: A cowboy riging a "bucking bronco", with the state name and year of entry into the United States above, and date below.
