Cook Islands 2006 $1 Tribute to Canada's 1911 Dollar, Silver Plated (minor scuffs)

Originally one of a pair of "Emperor Dollars," this coin was intended as a tribute to Canada's rare 1911 silver dollar. The original set included one fine silver coin and one silver-clad bronze coin; this is the clad one. The obverse features the effigy of King George V as it would have appeared on the original coin, while the reverse recreates the original dollar coin design.
