2005 Manitoulin Island, ON, Haweater Dollars $3 Bimetallic Token

Located on the north end of Lake Huron, Manitoulin is the world's largest lake island -- large enough, in fact, that it has over 100 lakes of its own. "Haweater" is an affectionate nickname for those born on the island, referring to the prevalence of the hawberries that islanders have long eaten to survive. This 2005 bimetallic token features a sugar shack on the reverse, and an outline of the island on the obverse.
