1977 Creemore, ON, Commemorative Dollar Trade Token
Creemore, now part of Clearview Township, is located just north of Toronto on the boundary of the Niagara Escarpment. Founded in 1845, the name comes from the Irish "croí mór," meaning "big heart." This 1977 trade token, worth one dollar, features the Creemore Arena on one side and the Creemore Jail -- supposedly the smallest jail in North America -- on the other.
