Remembering the horror and victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, this 5th anniversary gold-plated medallion from the National Collector's Mint casts the Twin Towers in .999 fine silver recovered from Ground Zero. The engraving reads, "Even grief recedes with time, but we will never forget - In Memory - September 11 - 2001 - 2001-2006." The reverse shows an eagle facing left, engraved with God Bless America and National Collector's Mint. Medal comes in its original capsule in a deluxe case.
Please note, this second-hand item exhibits some scratches, scuffs and other signs of wear and handling. The hinge on the Towers that allows them to stand up has detached; they may rattle around and have to be reattached.
