Struck by the Royal Mint for the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda in 1999, this beautiful uncirculated coin set includes five coins: 1-cent, 5-cent, 10-cent, 25-cent, and 1-dollar. Bermuda was, in fact, the first British colony to issue its own coinage, having struck its own brass coins for local trade in 1616, but it, like most British colonies, used British money for most of its history. The first modern Bermudan currency was introduced in 1970.
