From 1990 through 2003, Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn were the highest-paid performers in Las Vegas. They headlined a wildly popular magic show at The Mirage, where they were known for their flamboyant costuming and stage acts involving big cats. The show was long-criticized for using these majestic and intelligent animals as props, but, for more than a decade, it was consistently sold out.

In 2003, the show's run came to an abrupt end when one of the tigers, a 400-pound cat named Mantacore, attacked Horn during a live performance. Horn suffered catastrophic injuries and then suffered a stroke. To his credit, Horn protected Mantacore, insisting that no harm come to the tiger. Mantacore retired to the Mirage's Secret Garden habitat, where he lived for another ten years.

This souvenir medallion depicts Siegfried and Roy with one of their tigers. The reverse advertises their show. The medallion comes encapsulated in its original case. Please note that this is a second-hand item and may exhibit scratches, scuffs, or other signs of wear and handling.
