This medal commemorates the intense offensives in and around the hilltop plateau of Lorette in the early days of World War I. The obverse shows a soldier with a rifle held at the ready. The reverse is a sequence of locations important to the campaign: Arras, Neuville-Saint-Vaast, Notre-Dame de Lorette, Carency, Ablain-Saint-Nazaire, and Souchez. Medal comes with its original ribbon in French colours.
