Obverse: A ship sailing to the right within a beaded circle.
Reverse: Four line inscription of SHIPS COLONIES & COMMERCE.

PE-10-29 Variety: The first "E" in COMMERCE is nicked, and she first "S" in SHIPS is not double cut. There is a single H mint mark located within the waves to the right, a straight British flag, a cut knob ampersand, and a toothed border reverse.
