Obverse: A ship sailing to the right within a beaded circle.
Reverse: Four line inscription of SHIPS COLONIES & COMMERCE.

PE-10-26 Variety: There is a gap in the ampersand stem to the knob. There is a single H mint mark located within the waves to the right, a straight British flag, a cut knob ampersand, and a dotted border on the reverse.
