This design, titled "Debt Means Death," shows a samurai committing the act of seppuku. Seppuku was a traditional and ritualistic form of suicide intended to protect the samurai's honour; blood and banknotes pour from the wound in a torrent. The metaphor is open to interpretation. Crafted from .999 fine silver, this coin comes encapsulated with a "Death of the Dollar" certificate of authenticity.
