Austria 1970 9-Coin Proof Set including 3 Silver Coins (light wear)
This elegant proof set from Austria includes nine coins: 2 groschen, 5 groschen, 10 groschen, 50 groschen, 1 schilling, 5 schilling, 10 schilling, 25 schilling, and 50 schilling. The last three are special silver coins: the 10 schilling coin is made from .640 silver; the 25 schilling coin, celebrating the 100th birthday of Franz Lehar, is made from .800 silver; and the 50 schilling coin, celebrating the 300th anniversary of Innsbruck University, is made from .900 silver. This adds up to just over 33 grams of pure silver!
Please note, this set is in great shape overall, but may exhibit some mild signs of wear, age, and handling, including toning on the coins.
