Launched by NASA in 1973, Skylab was the United States' first space station and the second overall, after the Soviet Salyut 1. It was operated over 24 weeks by three astronaut crews: Skylab 2, Skylab 3, and Skylab 4, and fell back to earth in 1979. This four-token set presumably dates to this period, with each piece showing scenes of Skylab's launch and use. Coins come in their original plastic case.
Please note, this set shows visible evidence of wear, age, and handling, including some mild toning and a considerably scuffed-up case. The hinges seem to have come loose over the years, so the lid is liable to fall off.
