Pair of 1922 USA Silver Peace Dollars ICG Certified Genuine, 2pcs
Circulated between 1921 and 1928, and again between 1934 and 1935, the Peace dollar was designed by Anthony de Francisci. By the end of World War I, the Morgan dollar and its warhawk imagery was becoming outdated; instead, America wanted symbols of peace. The new dollar featured an eagle at rest, holding an olive branch in its talon over the legend, "Peace."
This pair of 1922 Peace Dollars dates to 1922 -- one from Philadelphia and one from San Francisco. These coins were made from 90% silver, making them both interesting historical pieces and investments in the future. Both coins come in protective slabs that state they are certified genuine by ICG.
