United Kingdom 2006 Executive Proof Coin Collection in Deluxe Wooden Case (minor issues)
This luxurious version of the 2006 UK proof collection contains a total of 13 coins, including 1 pence, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, and 50 pence. The set also celebrates several special events with limited edition designs: two 50 pence pieces honouring the 150th anniversary of the Victoria Cross, a £1 coin that shows the Egyptian Arch in Northern Ireland, three different £2 coins that celebrate Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel's 200th birthday, and a £5 piece celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday. All of these beautiful proof coins are encased in a sturdy plastic slab that is, in turn, held in a gorgeous "executive" quality wooden case with a magnetic clasp. A small golden plaque on the lid of the case reads, "Executive Proof Collection" with the Royal Mint coat of arms.
Please note, this set is in generally very good condition, but it does show some light signs of wear, age, and handling. This includes some minor scratches on the plastic case, as well as some light toning on some of the coins.
