Australia 1990 $5 75th Anniversary of Anzac Commemorative Coin in Case (light wear)
The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) was founded in 1914 during the Gallipoli campaign. It grouped soldiers from the First Australian Imperial Force with the 1st New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Though it was disbanded in 1916, "ANZAC" has been used to describe any joint Australia-New Zealand unit ever since.
This base metal commemorative coin celebrates the 75th anniversary of ANZAC, showing an ANZAC soldier assisting an injured comrade on an Army donkey. New Zealand minted a matching coin in the same year. This coin comes encapsulated in its original plush case.
Please note that this is a second-hand item and may exhibit scratches, scuffs, or other signs of wear and handling.
