NS-6A2 1856 Nova Scotia Mayflower, Without LCW, Bronze, One Penny Bank Token, F-VF (F-15)

In the 1850s the Nova Scotia government applied for and received its first true coinage, a halfpence and a pence which features a sprig of the Mayflower, which is now Nova Scotia's provincial flower. These coins are considered by many to be among the most beautiful coins ever made for North America. They were produced at Heaton's Mint in Birmingham, but the master tools were made by the Royal Mint.

Reverse: A bouquet of Mayflowers, with the legend around, and the denomination below.

6A2 Variety: There are no initials LCW below the truncation of the neck, the token is made of bronze.
