2022 Solomon Islands $2 Nutcracker Clara Shaped Coloured .9999 Fine Silver Coin (No Tax) light issues
Bring home some classical Christmas magic with this whimsical coin from PAMP Suisse. The coin depicts Clara, the young protagonist of the 1892 ballet The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The ballet tells the story of Clara's Christmas Eve adventure with a toy nutcracker, which was a gift from her beloved and eccentric godfather. Clara helps the Nutcracker defeat the evil Mouse King and travels with him to the Land of Sweets, where they are welcomed by the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy. It's a classic Christmas tale of adolescent love, adventure, and fairy-tale magic. This little silver Clara is shown in her ballet dress, holding her toy nutcracker in one arm. Finely crafted from .9999 fine silver, this is a truly beautiful and elegant gift for the holiday season.
Please note, this item exhibits some minor signs of wear and handling, and the obverse of the coin is beginning to show some toning around the edges.
