2011 USA "You Can Run" Gold & Silver Plated 2-Medallion Proof Set in Case (residue)
These detailed gold- and silver-plated medallions were issued to mark the death of Osama bin Laden, mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States. The obverse shows three US Navy SEALS with text "You Can Run, But You Cannot Hide," whilst the reverse shows the Twin Towers and the Pentagon with two quotes by presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama: "Whether we bring our enemies to justice or bring justice to our enemies, justice will be done," and, "Justice has been done." Both medallions feature the same design; one is gold-plated, and the other is silver-plated. Medallions come encapsulated in a display case.
Please note, the capsules appear to have been taped into the case at one point. There is a dried, gluey residue on both. Residue could likely be removed with patience, or coins can simply be displayed on the opposite sides.
