Ukraine 2019 10th Anniversary of the Launch of Zenit-3SL 5 Hryven Coin in Folder (wear)
From the National Bank of Ukraine, this 5 hryven coin celebrates the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Zenit-3SL. The Zenit-3SL was an expandable carrier rocket produced by the Ukrainian Yuzhnoye Design Bureau. It launched 36 times between 1999 and 2014, mostly carrying communications satellites. This 2019 coin features a beautifully detailed depiction of the rocket on its launchpad on the reverse. The obverse shows it orbiting Earth, with the Ukrainian coat of arms above. Cyrillic text reads "Ukraine, 5 hryvnias" on the obverse and "Sea Launch Project, First Launch of the Zenit 3SL Carrier Rocket" on the reverse. An interesting little collectible for anyone interested in space, science, and technology!
Please note, this item exhibits some minor signs of wear and handling, including dings on the folder and some gluey residue on the capsule, which looks like it could be removed with some patience. Capsule exhibits some minor scratches.
