2001 Pabos (Chandler), QC, Bimetallic $3 Trade Token
Due to a merger with several surrounding municipalities, the town of Chandler, Québec, was briefly known as Pabos between June 2001 and May 2002. This bimetallic token was probably issued in acknowledgement of the merger and name change. Located on the Gaspé Peninsula, Chandler is celebrated for its natural beauty, which is represented on the reverse side of the token. The obverse shows an artistic rendering of Chandler.
