Lot of 89x Argentina 1986-1989 10 Australes Consecutive Notes, 89pcs
The second largest country in South America, comprising most of the continent's south, Argentina is bordered by Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, and Uruguay. Its northern portion was part of the Inca Empire in the 15th century, and Spanish colonization began with the founding of Buenos Aires by Pedro de Mendoza in 1536. By 1818, following years of secessionist civil war, the voice of the people could no longer be denied, and a new Argentina declared its independence from Spain.
These notes date to the late 1980s, a period of economic crisis that saw high inflation and instability rock Argentina as it transitioned out of military dictatorship.
