2015 Niue Colourized Endangered Species Amur Leopard Fine Silver Coin (No Tax). Includes COA.
Native to the far east of Russia and northern China, the Amur leopard is also known as the Siberian leopard. With somewhere between 60 and 130 individuals surviving in the wild, it is considered Critically Endangered.
To bring awareness to the plight of the Amur leopard, the Mint of Poland released this 99.99% fine silver coin as part of their Endangered Animal Species series, featuring a colourized leopard and her cub lounging in the grass on the reverse. The coin has a face value of one New Zealand dollar (issued by Niue) and features the right-facing bust of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley on the obverse. Also included is a brilliant Swarovski crystal, marking the habitat of the Amur leopard.
Coin comes complete in its original packaging with COA.
