The 2003 Baie Saint Marie, Nova Scotia Bi-Metallic $3 Trade Token was Canadian municipal token issued by the community of Baie Sante-Marie, Nova Scotia to promote tourism, celebrate heritage and support fundraising efforts. The reverse of this token depicts La Petite Chapelle (The Little Chapel), which was constructed in 1892 on the grounds of the Acadian cemetery. This cemetery served as the final resting place for Acadian refugees who fled the 1755 Expulsion from Port-Royal and remained in use until 1786. The Little Chapel stands as a memorial to the early Acadian settlers and the hardships they endured during their resettlement.
