2015 USA $1 Mohawk Ironworkers Commemorative Coin & Currency Set (light wear)
The 2015 Sacagawea $1 Coin commemorates the contributions of the Nahnawaka Mohawk and Akwesasne Mohawk communities to "high iron" construction work, specifically in New York skyscrapers, dating back to 1886. The reverse design depicts a Mohawk ironworker swinging an I-beam into position. The coin comes in a sturdy, informational folder with a special $1 note from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The serial number on the note begins with "911" to honour the Mohawk ironworkers who volunteered in the recovery efforts following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City.
Please note, the outer sleeve in particular shows some light wear. The bank note is also stuck rather stubbornly on a bit of an angle.
