Pair of 2011 & 2016 Canada $2 & $5 Fine Silver Wolf Coins, 2pcs (No Tax) scratched capsules

Canada boasts the second-largest population of grey wolves in the world (after Russia), occupying upwards of 90% of their historic range. The 10% of Canada that does not have wolves is mostly near the southern border, where most of Canada's population lives. They are found coast to coast, and their double coat of fur protects them against the extreme cold of the far north. Wolves in British Columbia are genetically unique, having adapted to eat fish such as salmon.

These two fine silver coins feature Canada's iconic grey wolves. The first, a 1 oz. fine silver coin from 2011, shows a vigilant wolf standing in front of a full moon. The second, a 3/4 oz. fine silver coin from 2016, shows two moonlit wolves with their thick winter coats, howling at the night sky. Both coins come in protective plastic cases, which may show some minor scratches.
