Lot of 3x 2014 S America the Beautiful—National Parks USA Quarter Rolls, 3Pcs
This lot of three USA quarter rolls of 40 coins each contains three different, though equally stunning, USA National Parks designs.
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine: a historical American coastal bastion fort in the shape of a pentagon that was built in 1798 and continuously used by US forces through both WWI and WWII. With a dry moat, a deep, broad trench for trapping attacks, and bastions positioned on the walls, this fort did its best to defend the Port of Baltimore. The reverse of these quarters features the Fort with fireworks overhead and a large American flag.
Arches National Park: located in eastern Utah, this National Park contains more than 2000 natural sandstone arches, including the well known Delicate Arch, leading it to have the highest density of natural arches in the world. Turning a striking red when the sun hits just right, these arches and towering rocks are sure to make you feel small, even on the back of a quarter. The reverse features the aforementioned Delicate Arch, a 65-foot freestanding arch.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park: located in the famous Appalachian Mountain range, the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee contain some of the highest mountains in eastern North America. The mystery and intrigue, the call of the unknown which has marked the Appalachians, and by extension the Smokies, can be seen through the reverse of this quarter. Featuring an authentic log cabin and the mountains in the background, with a hawk soaring high, the reverse of this quarter captures that beauty.
