In 1966, the city of Attica, Indiana celebrated its one hundredth anniversary. A site of European settlement since at least 1825, Attica was, for nearly twenty years, the only place to cross the Wabash River by ferry. This souvenir half-dollar token celebrates this aspect of the city's legacy with a detailed depiction of ferries crossing the Wabash on the obverse.
