In 1982, Charlottetown PEI produced a series of collectable $1.00 trade tokens honouring the Fathers of Confederation. This one features Frederic Carter, Newfoundland premier who supported Canadian Confederation, even though his province wouldn't join until 1949. The reverse shows Province House, which hosted much of the Charlottetown Conference.
