2001 Canada Volunteer 10-cent Thank-You Card (Discolouration)

To commemorate volunteer activities worldwide, the United Nations General Assembly named 2001 as the International Year of Volunteers. To mark the occasion, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a special ten cent coin depicting the "Marching Mothers," a group of Hamilton, Ontario mothers whose collection of dimes contributed to the discovery of the polio vaccine. Here, the Marching Mothers dime is presented in a vibrant thank-you card, meant to honour a special volunteer in your life.
