1964 North Dakota Diamond Jubilee Souvenir Trade 50-Cent Token
Originally worth 50 cents in trade at Jubilee Headquarters in 1964, this token celebrates the 75th anniversary of North Dakota's statehood!
In November of 1889, President Benjamin Harrison admitted North Dakota to the Union. It quickly became a stronghold for the Republican Party, establishing conservative policies that led to some industrial development -- particularly lignite mining, brickworking, and flour milling. Today, North Dakota is known for its agriculture, sweeping prairies, and stunning parkland.
