Belgium 1915 25 Centimes Extra Fine (EF-40)
The 1915 Belgian 25 Centimes was issued by German authorities during their occupation of Belgium in World War I (1914–1918), following the violation of Belgium’s neutrality in their invasion of France. With the Belgian government operating in exile from Le Havre, France, the German administration produced these coins in zinc rather than silver, reflecting wartime material shortages.
