In 2012, Elizabeth II became the second monarch in a thousand years of British history to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee. To commemorate sixty years on the throne, the Royal Canadian Mint produced a series of .9999 fine silver coins. This one celebrates her 1947 wedding to Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten with a detailed overlapping effigy of Queen and Prince, flanked by a shamrock, Tudor rose, and thistle (symbolic of the British Isles), and maple leaves.
Please note, there are some minor scratches on the capsule.
