Lot of 44x 1993 Sequential Yugoslavia 500,000,000 Dinara Banknotes, 44pcs

Yugoslavia (literally "Land of the South Slavs") existed in Central Europe and the Balkans from 1918 to 1992. It was the first consolidation of South Slavic peoples into a sovereign state following Ottoman rule and existed until the republics that formed it broke apart in the 1990s. Today, the region includes Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo.

A second, smaller country, also called Yugoslavia but legally recognized as a new and separate state, existed for about a decade longer in the area that later became Serbia and Montenegro.

These 500,000,000 dinara banknotes date to this second state. The obverse depicts geographer and ethnologist Jovan Cviji?, whilst the reverse shows the Kapetan Mišino mansion in Belgrade. Serial numbers are sequential and begin at ZA0093633.
