1985 Windsor, NS Blockhouse Trade Dollar Token

The 1985 Windsor, NS Blockhouse Trade Dollar Token was issued to promote tourism, support local business, and commemorate the Windsor, Nova Scotia blockhouse, built in 1750, the block housed played a key role in the struggle for control of North America between the British and the French, and later in local defense during the American Revolution and War of 1812. The obverse of the token shows the blockhouse and the reverse depicts the Coat of Arms.
