USA 1959-1982 Complete Set of Lincoln Memorial Copper Pennies in Official Album (wear)
In 1959, the reverse of the American penny was changed. The familiar wheat stocks were replaced with a representation of the historic Lincoln Memorial in Washington. This copper penny circulated until 1982, when the iconic coin was replaced with a zinc facimilie coated with a thin copper plating.
This collection by the International Mint includes 42 copper memorial pennies dated 1959 to 1982. Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints are all represented. The set comes in its original folder with COA.
