2007 Canada $30 National War Memorials Vimy Ridge Sterling Silver Coin ICCS Certified PF67 UHC
Part of the Royal Canadian Mint's National War Memorials series, this sterling silver coin pays tribute to the Canadian National Memorial in France. Located at Vimy Ridge, the memorial commemorates the over 77,000 Canadians who were killed or went missing in France. The deeply moving memorial consists of two tall, tapering pylons that symbolize Canada and France, crowned by the figures of Truth, Knowledge, Gallantry, Sympathy, and Honour. Between them is the mourning figure of Canada Bereft overlooks the city of Lille in the distance. It is this figure who graces the reverse of the 2007 coin, with a list of the fallen behind her.
This coin has been certified by ICCS and assigned a grade of PF67.
