• 1952 South Africa 5 Shilling 300th Anniversary of Cape Town .500 Silver Coin. This features Dutch merchant Jan van Riebeeck's flagship, the Dromedaris, sailing into Table Bay in 1652.
• 1964 South Africa 50 Cent Jan van Riebeeck .500 Silver Coin. This features a bust of Dutch merchant Jan van Riebeeck, who was the first Commander of the Cape of Good Hope waystation between 1652 and 1662.

Both coins are composed of 50% silver.
