The 1986 World Exposition on Transportation and Communication, known colloquially as Expo 86, was the last world's fair held in North America. Hosted by Vancouver and drawing more than 22 million visitors, it was, to this day, the second-largest event ever held in Vancouver.
This souvenir medallion features a mountain-and-lake scene with the Expo Pavilion, a jet, a sailing ship, and a monorail line. The token comes in its original, branded Expo 86 case. Please note, there is some noticable wear on the case.
There is a silver variant of this token; this one is base metal.
