1970 Japan World Exposition Expo '70 Souvenir Medallion

Expo '70 -- more formally known as the Japan World Exposition -- was held in Osaka, Japan from March to September of 1970. It was the first World's Fair held in Asia, and its theme was "Progress and Harmony for Mankind." The Expo saw the premiere of the first-ever IMAX film, the Canadian-produced Tiger Child, and featured some of the earliest mobile phones. It also saw the debut of conveyor belt sushi!

This collectible souvenir medallion is fairly hefty, weighing nearly 71 grams and about 5 cm in diameter. it features Expo '70's logos on front and back.
