Sudbury, ON, Royal Arch Masons Tuscan Chapter No. 95 Token

This Masonic token comes from the Tuscan Chapter in Sudbury. The reverse design, which reads, "They Received Every Man a Penny," refers to the Biblical Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, wherein dependable labourers are rewarded with one "penny" (more accurately, a Roman denarius) for their work, regardless of how long they had been at it. The Masons use this parable as a symbol of the rewards of faithful labour.
